Service and Repair

We are a full service bike repair shop.

Wolverton's Cycling & Fitness is a full service bike repair shop.  We are trained to repair or service any make or model of bicycle. We can fix a flat while you wait or you can drop your bike off for a tuneup to get your bike ready for the season. Our service staff is Trek certified and keep their skills updated with several training sessions each year. Whether it's a minor tune-up or a major overhaul, you can count on us to do the job right the first time, every time.

  • Derailleur, brake and drivetrain cleaning and adjustments
  • Wheel truing and rebuilding
  • New bike assembly

Here are some of packages but if you just need a brake or gear adjusted we can do that also.

Basic Tune-Up $75.00

  1. Precision Gear and Brake Adjustment
  2. Lube Chain and Derailleurs
  3. True Wheels
  4. Adjust and lube brakes.  If bike has hydraulic brakes, the rotors will be cleaned and the pads will be replaced if needed.  If the brakes need to be bled then an extra cost of $35 per brake will be added.
  5. Adjust hubs and crank
  6. Make sure bars, stem etc are tight
  7. Wipe Down Frame and Fork.  If bike needs to be washed there will be a $10 extra charge added.
  8.  Note: If a tire, bottom bracket, bearing, bar tape etc need to be replaced there will be an extra cost for labor.


    Tune n' Clean - $120

  1. Wash bike and clean drive train in degreaser
  2. Lube chain and adjust derailleurs
  3. Adjust headset, hubs and bottom bracket
  4. True Wheels
  5. Adjust hubs and crank.
  6. Adjust and lube brakes.  If bike has hydraulic brakes, the rotors will be cleaned and the pads replaced if needed.  If the brakes need to be bled then an extra cost of $30 per brake will be added to the cost.
  7. Safety check with torque wrench on stem etc.
  8. Note: If a tire, bottom bracket, bearing, bar tape etc need to be replaced there will be an extra cost for labor.     

Comprehensive Over-Haul $225.00

Tune n clean PLUS the following:

  1.  Take headset, hubs and bottom bracket apart and repack with grease and new bearings
  2.  Replace all gear cables, brake cables and casing.
  3.  Extra charge of $25 per brake if brakes need to be bled
  4.  If you would like the front shock overhauled there is an extra charge.  $40 labor charge for not replacing seals and $70 labor for replacing seals.

         Note: All bearings, cables and casing replaced will be charged for.
